ciaoo! so i'm safely in sicily.. i got here yesterday evening.
My family is nice, theres 2 brothers and one sister and the parents. The house reminds me a lot of my home in santa barbara, because its outside of town, on one of the hills with an AMAZING view of all the coastal towns (Agrigento, Favara, etc.) and to get there you have to drive up a little windy road similar to the road in sb, but thankfully this one isnt quite as long.
The other exchange students on this exchange week are nice, but i find that its sometimes hard to really talk to them because we dont have much in common..
Today i went to my first day at school in sicily. i'm not sure i liked it all that much. The people were really nice, but it was IMPOSSIBLE to understand them, because they don't even really speak italian, they speak siciliano which is a sicilian dialect. and they speak so fast, and so loudly. It makes me thankful for the way people speak in Rome.
The weather is ehhh. Yesterday was horribly stormy. Today there was no rain, but it was very overcast. Probably expecting rain for tomorrow :( troppo pioggia.
